MyHealthCoach Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy summarizes our policies and practices regarding collection and use of information we receive about you through your access and use of any of the MyHealthCoach ("App”). If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you should not use our App.

This Privacy Policy informs you about:

1. The Information We Collect

To better provide you a smooth, efficient, and customized experience while using our App and all its features, we collect two types of information about our users: (a) Personally Identifiable Information, and (b) Non-Personally Identifiable Information (together “Personal Information”).

Personally Identifiable Information
When you sign up for or use our services, you voluntarily give us certain information that identifies you, or can be used to identify you, personally (“Personally Identifiable Information”) as well as authorizes us to build a personal health record within MyHealthCoach on your behalf. Personally Identifiable Information includes, but is not limited to:

Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Non-Personally Identifiable Information is anonymous data not associated with you as an individual. It is measured anonymously and only in the aggregate.

We passively collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information about you when you visit the App through passive technology.

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

We will primarily use your Personally Identifiable Information for the purpose(s) for which it was submitted by you to us, such as to establish an account and profile, invite others to register with us as a supporter of your goals, or to track your progress towards your goals.

Your Personal Information may also be used to contact and communicate with you; inform you about products, services or promotions that may be of interest to you; improve your overall experience when you visit and/or use the features of the App; measure the effectiveness of the App and our advertising and marketing programs, and for our research and development of new products and services.

3. How We Share Information

Central to the purpose of the App is the sharing of information. We will generally limit the availability of your Personally Identifiable Information on the App to those persons you have authorized to have access to your information, namely your supporters.

We will not share, sell or trade your Personally Identifiable Information with any third parties, except with your consent. For example, we may offer you products, services, or offers of third parties that will ask you to provide personal information; however, you are not under any obligation to do so.

We may disclose your Personal Information, when legally required to do so, to cooperate with law enforcement investigations or other legal proceedings; to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the App; to limit our legal liability and protect our rights, or to protect the rights, property or safety of users of this App or the public.

In the event we sell, merge or otherwise transfer all or substantially all of our assets to a third party, or we liquidate our business, we reserve the right to transfer your Personal Information to such third party.

4. How We Protect Your Information

We follow commercially reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative practices to maintain the security of Personal Information, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to data as well as employing electronic security systems and password protections which guard against unauthorized access.

We do not store or keep any bank or credit card information you enter and transmit through the App or through any third-party payment processor linked from the App.

Despite these efforts, Internet or cellular transmission of data cannot be guaranteed 100% safe. While we will use every reasonable means to ensure that Personal Information is secure, we cannot guarantee that such information will not be intercepted by third parties. If we discover your Personal Information has been improperly accessed as a result of a security breach, we will promptly notify you as required by applicable law.

5. Our Other Policies and Practices

Email Choice/Opt-out
We may send you periodic emails regarding our services or the App or containing information we believe might be of interest to you. You can opt out of receiving these emails at any time by sending an email to with “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line.

Emails from other Users
By connecting to other Registered Users, you may receive emails or other electronic communications from these persons. You are not under any obligation to communicate with other Registered Users.

Links to Other Apps
While visiting the App, you may link to Apps or web sites operated by third parties (“Third Party Sites”). Our privacy practices may differ from those of Third Party Sites. If you provide your Personal Information to a Third Party Site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the operator of that Third-Party Site.

Privacy of Children
We will not knowingly collect Personal Information from children who are under the age of 13.

6. Changes We May Make to this Privacy Policy

We may change this policy from time to time, and if we do, we’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use the App after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy. If the changes are significant, we may provide more prominent notice or get your consent as required by law.
